Solemn meeting in honor of the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan

November 16, 2011 in the board of the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan "Amonatbonk" was held a solemn meeting in honor of the President's Day of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Opening the meeting, Chairman of the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan "Amonatbonk" Ikromi S.S. congratulated all present with the bright and historic date - President's Day of the Republic of Tajikistan and noted that the definition of the state system and ways of further development of independent Tajikistan, ensuring peace and unity of the people and strengthening the authority of independent Tajikistan in the international arena is one of the greatest achievements of the Leader of the Nation and in this regard, in accordance with the legislation of our country - November 16 is recognized as Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

On this occasion, the invited guest, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Farhod Rahimi made a speech and congratulated, noting that the most important step for the development of our country's independence was holding the 16th of November 1992 the Supreme Council of the 12th convocation in Arbob Palace in Khujand. This session and its legal acts played a decisive role in protection of national statehood and development of democratic institutions in Tajikistan. The new leadership of Tajikistan, after a comprehensive study and analysis of the situation in order to overcome the political, economic and social crisis, began focused and effective work. Challenges lay ahead, one of which was improving national legislation. The 16th session went down in the history of the Tajik people as a turning point on the way to ending the fratricidal war, stability of the Tajik nation, establishment of a legal, democratic and secular state in Tajikistan.

It was noted that thanks to the efforts of the Leader of the Nation, the Republic of Tajikistan today is recognized by the international community as a developing, proactive country in addressing global issues and influential in the settlement of political processes in the region.

At the end of the event, the young staff spoke about the unique achievements of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon and recited meaningful poetry.
